NSFlogo_blueThe Advanced Technological Education program from the National Science Foundation (NSF) seeks to join colleges and industry to promote improvement in the education of science and engineering technicians at the undergraduate and secondary school levels.  "With an emphasis on two-year colleges, the Advanced Technological Education (ATE) program focuses on the education of technicians for the high-technology fields that drive our nation's economy."  Funding from the ATE program can be used for professional development of college faculty and secondary school teachers, the development of career pathways to two-year colleges from secondary schools and from two-year colleges to four-year institutions, and other activities. They are especially seeking applications from Minority Serving Institutions. Information on previously funded proposals and full winning grant abstracts can be viewed on the NSF ATE Awards site. Proposal deadline is October 6, 2016.
