Biological Science Curriculum Studies (BSCS) is offering Life Science teachers in grades 6-9 a chance to field test their latest curriculum. In exchange for implementing a 10-week online course, teachers will receive a $2,000 stipend. The curriculum seeks to provide support in teaching body systems to students with an emphasis on critical thinking. Topics include the respiratory system, digestive system, cardiovascular system, and components of a cell. Priority will be given to teachers who work with economically disadvantaged students, English language learners, or students from underrepresented racial and ethnic groups.
